Stephen M. Watson, Esq.

​Stephen M. Watson is an attorney with over 30 years of experience. He is owner and founder of Watson Wills & Trusts, PLC.
 
Steve is an active member of the Virginia State Bar.  He has served as Chairman of the Real Estate Section of the Richmond Bar Association, Chairman of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and has been published in the Trusts and Estates Newsletter of the Virginia State Bar.

Before establishing Watson Wills and Trusts, PLC, Steve was a member of Carrell Blanton Ferris & Associates, PLC, an Estate Planning law firm.  Steve’s prior experience also includes: President, Viatical Settlement Professionals, Inc., a life settlement brokerage firm; Partner, Coates & Davenport Law Firm; and Associate, Florance Gordon and Brown law firm.

In addition to law, Steve’s interests include writing and editing. His works include a collaboration on the New York Times Best Seller, The Takeover, a novel by Steve’s college roommate, Stephen W. Frey, and Editor of Rocks Across the Pond, a book by Richard and Kathy Verlander, proud parents of Houston Astros’ ace Justin Verlander, and MLB Parent Club Detroit Tigers’ athlete, Ben Verlander.

Originally from Chatham, Virginia, Steve has lived in Richmond for 33 years. He is married and has 2 adult children.
